Charlotte Grojean has developed her career in residential design both as an Interior Designer and as an Architect. With her first degree in design, she gained experience by working for several interior design firms in San Francisco, Williamsburg and New York. In 1984 she pursued her lifelong interest in architecture by entering the four-year architectural program at the University of Illinois. Upon graduation she focused her work on community art centers and custom residential design. Charlotte went on to complete her graduate degree in architecture at M.I.T. in Cambridge, Mass. While studying architecture, she traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. Her design experience and multi-cultural exposure are subtly evident in the classical proportions and the historic references of her contemporary architectural designs. Charlotte is the founder and principal architect of Wildgrass Architecture.
